<A> Texas Instruments -2: Cowen Cites Falling DRAM Prices NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Cowen & Co. lowered its rating on Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) to buy from strong buy, analyst Drew Peck said. Peck said that even though he is bullish on the company for the second half of 1998, he couldn't justify a strong buy rating in light of drastic declines in prices of dynamic random access memory chips, or DRAMs.
