I heard, last week, a thing on NPR where a woman, a so-called climate scientist, claimed that through the use of statistics she could now show that certain weather events are so unlikely to have happened without climate change, that it is proof that climate change actually caused them.

This, of course, is gross statistics abuse. A weather guru also said there was a 2000-to-1 likelihood of a major hurricane making landfall this year.

What these goofs did NOT say is that last year there was maybe a 1800-to-1 likelihood, and it didn't happen, and the year before a 1650-to-1, and it didn't happen, and so on.

These people are just so full of it that you cannot even take them seriously.
