Someone who is living from paycheck to paycheck has very little to nothing invested in equities. Most in that predicament have more knowledge of the Moon than they do about stocks, let alone valuations.
That is not going to bring the Market down.
I know there is a lot of debt out there. But the vast majority of that debt is invested in the stock and housing market. It's a Ponzi scheme. You know that. It will take a nice big correction in the market (over 20%) to create the margin calls you are looking for. In terms of housing, prices are still rising as supply is dwindling. You will need a very nice price drop there to create a problem.
I see blue skies for the time being. The market is holding up quite well considering we have a super psycho as President.
