i know a fair bit about hurricanes and the aftermath.... 1- people who have stayed and gone thru a real hurricane swear they would never do it again 2- and the folks who do stay end up leaving immediately afterwards as there is no water,food,sanitation,etc... so nothing is actually gained by staying....
