Just spoke with CPT Paul F, my team leader at the battle of Ben Het.

He lives in and is in Wharton Texas...says heavy rain and wind is steadily increasing along with mucho lightening.

Houses at one end of his street already lost power. His wife's gift shop in Wharton is partially flooded now, as is his yard, and they are still a ways from the brunt of the storm.

He had just listened to a local weather report.
The weather predictors talked about the storm possibly receding back into the gulf and possibly re-emerging further into East Texas (closer to him) after strengthening again.

Last comment he made, a moment ago, was it had been reduced to a CAT 3, but just got raised to a CAT 4 again.
