Scott, (Re your post #888) During negotiations, it is likely that Non-Disclosure Agreements prohibit information like this from being released. But AFTER a deal is closed more details are likely to be available. I know if I was the owner of the private company involved, I would NOT want any information released to the public until AFTER the deal was done. The reason... what if the deal didn't close for some reason. I wouldn't want the whole world to know all the details about my business. Non-Disclosure Agreements are pretty standard in situations like this. Best wishes, Brad
