Dave: Me too...I loaded up for an average of $12 1/8th ! However, and luckily for me, I dumped out of 90 % of my MCRE at a big loss at $9 in late December '97. I was hoping to get back in again after that wash-sale 30 day rule expires. I kept some MCRE that I got at $10 1/2.

Anyway, I too am stunned ! Remember all those SEC Form-144s that were filed ? Just thought I'd remind you. Anyway the thing I remember is that I think you called MCRE and their secretary commented on the biz and how it was going. I guess that Bloomberg interview (I could never find it) got me complacent. Still...and I don't know why...but I can't wait 'till next week when I can buy more MCRE. Long term I'm not that concerned. But if I see those SEC Form 144s start rolling in again I'm out too.
