I have always understood from a prophetic standpoint that the prophetic clock started ticking again when the nation of Israel was reformed in 1948. By coincidence I was born in that year. Therefore if what I say is true my generation will not all pass from the earth before the fulfillment of end time prophecy.

Let's assume that the oldest person when he or she dies and was also born in the year 1948 will be 125 years old. That would put these events happening before the year 2073. Lets assume that a generation is the 3 score and ten of biblical proportions. This would place all of the end time events happening before 2018.

Even worldly, non Christian psychics and sears place catastropic events happening in the time frame of 2002 to 2012.

If we knew exactly what the meaning of "this generation" means we could all be prophets. Also , from a prophetic standpoint I always thought that the rebuilding of Solomon's temple was a necessary prerequisite.

None the less over 90% of all the people that have ever lived are currently living and alive today, so back up the bus and start loading the "salvation express". The harvest is plentiful; the workers are scarce. The glorious body of Christ will usher out the church age with a successful harvest, amen... In Christ.gregor
