[Warning: The following videos may be hard to watch. I have been given consent from the owner to post these to social media.]

These two cats came into Lincoln Way Animal Complex (Crown Point, IN) this afternoon after the owner used Sergeants Silver flea control for Cats 5lbs and over. It was purchased at Dollar General for around $5.

The videos were taken right after the cats' third bath in an attempt to remove any remaining product from their skin. It had been on for 4-5 hours when they were brought in so much of the product was already absorbed.

Please do not use this product! This is not the first time an animal has been poisoned by Sergeants flea control. Consumer Affairs has 706 instances and complaints filed against Sergeants. Please use caution when buying over the counter flea and tick preventative.

[Update] Excellent news! I was contacted by family and it is reported that both cats are doing well. They are sleepy but are eating and drinking. The kitten was even playing a little today.
