Yes, in this instance they were attacking anyone wearing a MAGA hat, i.e. Trump voters. What you don't realize, though, is that this has been going on all along. Attacks on people attending Trump rallies. Your media would typically just say something like "the violent Trump rallies" blah, blah. That tag and other ways of phrasing served to leave the impression that it was Trump attendees pushing each other around. Nevertheless, the videos on YouTube and Breitbart et al what was really going on. BTW, I listened to Trump speak at Springfield on his tax plan. He really threw the gauntlet down to Congress with his first bullet point. It was that taxes were going to be simplified by closing loopholes only rich people like himself enjoy. He repeated and emphasized that his tax plan will hurt him personally. So it sounded clear that his goal is not to benefit the rich like he's accused of. What's going to be fun, though, is watching Congress come unglued as their rich donors line up at the door in protest. We'll see who the biggest weasels are as they try to water down the impact.
