Thank you for that post. While most of us at SI try to figure out how to make money off of these dramatic events, we forget that:

It is possible that this is only the beginning of a major economic disaster resulting in impoverishment and suffering for millions of people.

Today, this possibility is easiest to conjure in Indonesia. Tomorrow?

Let's hope for all the millions of Asians and all people that this crisis can be averted.
