WSJ should be berated for using gene therapy in this context. It is a term used in the trade to describe the administration of exogenous genetic material to correct for a gene that is missing or not functioning as it should. What's wrong with "engineered t-cell therapy?" Too many syllables?

A milestone, nevertheless.
