I think the next run at healthcare needs to be at reigning in our outrageous costs for drugs and services compared to other countries. I see that as something all Americans can support, even Republicans. Perhaps not price controls at first, but requiring drugs of the same class and services of the same type to be publicly priced, where consumers and insurance companies could shop competitively.
