I have just spoken to ftel managment to get some insight to yesterdays announcement.It seems there is a segment of the investor community that thinks this is like signing up with a long distance carrier and getting free airline mileage or a cheaper per minute rate. Wrong wrong wrong "anybody can gain access to the internet through mci".What the street has so far missed is this ladies and germs,we have access immediately (within a few months as we deploy)to every telephone in america.It would have taken years through mom and pop isps to do this.This coup was done"with the stroke of a pen".We now are COLOCATED and that word and its ramifications make you rich and the funny thing is few understand this.Access to the total worldcom backbone opens up the world.Ask yourself one question?what business is worldcom in,what business is fnet in.Then ask yourself why would they let us use there network?When you successfully answer that you to will understand why you are rich and dont know it yet.By the way the hardware evals are coming along albeit slowly(you know big business ,evaluate evaluate yah de yah de yah)but we waited and got worldcom and now we will wait a bit longer for the hardware. I guess that will make us rich to the second power.Power to ftel. Publically I would like to congradulate frank and his team for suceeding beyond my wildest dreams and I think it would be a nice thing if folks on this board would email or write a note of thanks.Oh why the stock isnt 20 today my reaction is who cares!Just need it over five for nasdaq and margin. Think of the huge swings we can get when we go margin.they will be jumping out windows with margin calls in days like today.ggg
