I believe this will be the trend for the next year or so. When the SEC requires full disclosure of Y2K liabilities and and immediate write-off of remdiation expenses, it is going to bring all the major indiciis down except the Y2K which will stand to benefit. There will be selective recovery when individual companies announce they have solved the problem. Some companies might not recover, but be acquired or merge. Late this year there is is going to be a big wave of consolidations.

Just my opinion.
