Key West 1935 hurricane was stronger, where it measured the lowest surface pressure of 892 mb. That also blew up from a tropical storm to Cat 5 in 1-day. It's all happened before Kenny. We didn't have flights measuring hurricanes 4-times per day in the past and high-resolution satellite imagery. Here's an update on the hurricane; Florida might be spared by a cold front, thanks to a strong, winter-like Rossby wave pattern.
