Hi Margaret,

Let's all hope Intel stays up today. My mentor is my father-in-law. He has done great over the years and it's always nice to learn from someone else's experience. Believe me, I will also make my share of mistakes! My broker has been friends with dad for 40 years so I also trust him. They give me ideas then I do my own research, listen to my gut and then act. Once in a while they even listen to me <GGGGGG>. Dad is looking to buy some CSCO.

My other mentors are everyone on this thread. Like JT, I have learned alot since I took the plunge into investing on my own. My kids godmother's, grandma also used to babysit for the imfamous Warren Buffet and his siblings. Many years ago she went behind her husbands back and took $10,000 and bought berkshire hathoway right when it first came out. Well the rest is history. So I hear things from that line too. Maybe my grandkids will talk about how grandma started buying stock when she was young and thats why she dragged us along on this cruise to meet her friends from Italy, Penn, DC,GA,FL,CA :-)

I guess the best advice I can give on finding a mentor is find a friend or aquantince that has some experience and pick their brains.

Take Care

Ann
