No, they make so much noise and we really don't need it, or want it... we can go for a very long time without electric power and prefer it quiet, otherwise you need fuel and it's more annoying than it's worth... but I don't think it should be a problem... we can survive very well without modern conveniences for a very long time, it's amazing how resourceful we can be, we only forget because we have so much at our fingertips every day...
