Thoughts Gold and Catastrophe I just can't visualize at this point in time people all looking to buy gold. With earthquakes tornadoes and Kim it is pretty difficult for me to project a surge in gold to offset inflation when it appears numerous areas have been deflattened. I believe it is not time to bet the house maybe buy the land but not bet the house. Somebody somewhere on Si stated that they did not think interest rates would rise I wish I remembered where I read it but me thinks they are right.
