<< Are you a believer in TA yet????? >>

I've been a TA believer since shortly after I met you in cyberspace! The facts speak for themselves.

Unfortunately, being a TA believer is not enough. One must be a TA Master, such as yourself. This last year has taught me how difficult the art is, and how treacherous the waters are in Wall Street. The market was up 20 points for the year and I got clobbered again and again with poor timing. I simply don't have 3 or 4 hours every night plus and hour or two during the workday to do this right. It is a full-time job and I don't see how you do it with another full-time job. I am impressed.

It is clear that I will never ascend to your ranks, but I hope to continue to learn and grow over the years, and hopefully gain a healthy return for the time and effort and money invested.

You got within a buck of your target on Cube. Not bad. May full-service broker had a target of $50, and I am still holding some Feb $35 calls as a result !!! : ' ( Also, a Jan $50 call on COMS !!! : ' ( Your input has proven much more accurate and I greatly appreciate it.

Any off-the-cuff current opinions on TIF, LBOR, COMS, PSFT, or the market in general? I have some Jan puts that I need to unload in the next six days, so any thoughts would be appreciated.

With Asia falling apart, I don't understand how our market is holding up so well. Will it gradually succomb to the downward pressures, or will we see another plunge like last October? Time will tell, and it should be interesting.

I have learned a lot this last year, unfortunately, I learned most of it the hard way. I am picking up the pieces and hoping for a better 1998.

Happy New Year, Mark, and thanks again for everything !!! : ' )

Best wishes,

Happy

P.S. Any progress on that book you were writing?
