Democrats can't compete against free stuff (no tax increases) and tax cuts (more free stuff). Issues are hard to explain to people and republican voters don't care about issues. All they care about or are capable of understanding is a slogan or sound bite. Democrats believe in creating a more perfect Union by bringing every single person into it. We fought for women's rights, gay rights and are now fighting for transgender rights. We have the Fortune 500 behind working with us and on our side every step of the way. We also want jobs programs to train people for the jobs that are being created. We want infrastructure spending and we want to fix the ACA. I can go on for days but there isn't a Democrat in the country who can get a headline no matter what he says or does. The media is obsessed with the lies republicans tell.
