We've all heard about Stradivarius violins, right? Well here's a Stradivarius guitar. Yes, that's right, he made guitars, too. This one was built in 1679. The modern guitar has a few different predecessors in history. The main ones are the lute, the vihuela, and the type shown here, which is called a "baroque guitar," which might be my favorite. Here are two more baroque guitars. The first one is played by the woman in the sparkly top. Her husband is playing a theorbo, which is a long-necked type of lute. (I love this video.) And here's a Scottish guy rocking out on the baroque guitar. Don't miss the finale!
