That's going to take a lot of panels... and kill the vegetable plankton. My idea is to line the freeways in the deserts: easy maintenance access blocks noise from quiet deserts easy right of way and access for electrical power line cables to cities creates shade for motorists having car trouble or just taking a break that part of the desert is already impacted, reduces solar farm desert impact sun galore in deserts what's not to like? impacts desert views for drivers... sometimes
