Well, maybe the following will finally start the so called January rally (especially in the much needed tech - and especially in the semis - sector):

Dallas Semiconductor (DS) 40 -1/4: chip maker posts a 4Q fully diluted net of $0.60 a share, a penny ahead of the First Call estimates, vs year-ago net of $0.37 a share.....

It is interesting to note that CS Boston a few days ago upgraded both LSI and Dallas Semi. (from all other semis.). Not that it really matters (in my view anyway since I think of these analysts as a bunch of con-artists!).
