Senator Gillebrand from NY was appointed by the governor when Hillary accepted the position of Secretary of State under the Obama Administration. She was a congress woman from Buffalo who had a record of being a moderate and being pro gun advocate. She got attacked instantly for her gun stance. She immediately changed her position citing that she wants to represent the voice of NYS. Now she's on the NRA hit list. Her voting record has been 100% progressive and is one of the most liberal voting members of the Senate, more liberal and progressive than Sanders. Her net worth, last I checked, was only a little over 500K. That can be a problem; for, as you know, she will be offered a lot more than that to play ball. She seems to want to please her constituency. I have no idea what kind of President she would be. She looks kind of soft. But looks can be deceiving. gillibrand.senate.gov
