racism.. I got that one covered... I guess until you actually walk in the shoes you cannot understand.. but thankfully empathy means you do not need the deeper understanding to do the right thing or be a good person.. EDIT I have a good friend from Germany that is very liberal.. and progressive.. (Landed immigrant) She is very involved in food banks, Black Lives Matter (she is white) .... We discuss things on racism at times and other things... the lack of experience often means some things she does not always see clearly as she could.. but she does good overall.. so that is the most important thing..
