Dwight,

As oil goes, so does the service sector. There are some great buys if you can handle a long horizon. Some of the drillers have all of the rigs out on leases at very profitable day rates, guarantted income/cash flow regardless of oil prices, yet they keep on heading down. I still have my positions in PKD and ESV, and have no intention of selling. My speculative oil play is GOU, which is a play on value. It is truly tied to oil prices, so hasn;t weather the last few weeks too well.

I'm looking hard at NSS too. It's really been hammered. I was short, but got caught in it's last gasp and covered too soon for a loss. If I had stuck by my convictions as Jeffy had, I would have made out like a bandit. Now it's really cheap, drive down by falling oil and steel prices. Funny thing is that there is an undersupply of rolled pipe steel, so they have a good market and falling raw material costs. Yet it too remains at a very low PE.

It takes a tough stomache to go long anything in these conditions.
