Nope not glorifying anything.. Would be happy to have not had such experience.. But to not understand that experience transcends simple empathy is in IMO naive. A good peron that survives these things is not only stronger.. But more balanced.. some folks get broken and bitter .. That is sad.. You seem to have come out on the plus side .
