Joey, I have not read any AMD hype. However observation on Intel price antics confirm this situation. Obviously it hurts AMD on the bottom line, as Intel needs to kill AMD lest it grow. Hint measure the drop in Intels profits compared to what they would have been without the predatory price drops, say by adding $100 to each processor they sold. The compare that loss with AMDs losses. Intel as high on the food chain is without doubt engaged in a war of attrition that it will most likely win as it is so much bigger than AMD that it can eat those losses, and make it back later after AMD is gone broke.
