Cominco haas a less costly technology to remove hazardous residues in
copper.Press release by Cominco dated Jan6, Cominco to market new
copper refining technology.The new technology will bring cost
reductions as well as major environmental improved processing of copper concentrates.The technology eliminates air emmissions including
particulates prevalent in conventional smelting, achieves high recovery rates and leaves only non-hazardous residues( see cominco.com)
