We don't have any security checkpoints at our games (knock on wood we never need to). Our parents use "sleeves" if they want to drink in the stands. These are soda cans with the tops and bottoms cut off so they fit perfectly over beer cans. The kids all typically "pre-game" as they call it, which means they "do their thing" before they get to the game. The parents' version of this are tailgate parties in the parking lot before the games.
