New Dimension Software Awarded $3.4 Million Contract by Major Australian Outsourcing Company Nine-Year Licensing Agreement Calls for New Dimension Software to Provide Enterprise Production Management Solutions IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- New Dimension Software (Nasdaq: DDDDF) recently signed a contract valued at $3.4 million (U.S. dollars) with a major outsourcing company based in Melbourne, Australia. In accordance with the nine-year licensing agreement, New Dimension Software will provide a suite of Enterprise Production Management(TM) solutions for the company's data centers throughout Australia. The Australian company selected New Dimension Software's products over competing solutions based on the strength of its Integrated Operations Architecture (IOA(R)). The underlying architecture allows the products to work together, making the solutions highly scalable and interoperable. New Dimension Software provides the extensive platform support and the integration between various systems management technologies required by the company in Australia. The contract calls for New Dimension Software to implement and support the following products across the enterprise: * CONTROL-M(R) for enterprise-wide production control and scheduling * CONTROL-R(R) for automated job restart * CONTROL-O(R) for automated MVS event management * The Enterprise Controlstation(TM) for enterprise-wide automation * CONTROL-T(R) for removable media management * CONTROL-B(R) for automated information integrity * CONTROL-D(R) for report distribution * CONTROL-V(R) for archive viewing A portion of the revenue from this contract is expected to be recognized during the fourth quarter 1997.
