This is why I used the automobile as the analogy. Benz developed what is considered the first production car in 1885 and it was 40 years later that the model T was produced. At best we are in the early 20th century, Model A period (IMO)




I sincerely think you are under-estimating the rapid level in a change in technology, and I feel it is only a few, 4-6 years away if not sooner before companies like Amazon accept it and once that happens the flood doors will be open.

I can imagine there are very strong forces, multinational banks, central banks and organizations like The Bilderberg Group, behind the scenes trying to stop this from happening.
