Geez Ken, 12 million isn't a base!? Sony needs major demand to get in the game. Where's this instant demand going to come from? It will take time, even if the product is great. Meanwhile the Zip will keep chugging along selling a million per month and more. IMO, OEMs aren't going to jump on the Sony bandwagon unless the demand is there. This will further delay any potential impact on Iomega.

You might also want to consider that when computing your Zip penetration percentage, there will be a significant group out there who will never need or purchase a removable. As a percentage of the "real" market out there, I believe the Zip commands a much higher rating than single digits.
