Now that we know both “Rocket Man” Kim Jong-un & “Honky Cat” President Trump are Elton John fans, all hope may not be lost.

Meanwhile, at Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 38.51% YTD (vs. up 39.14% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 24.59% YTD (vs. up 25.24% YTD a week ago) and the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI), was up 41.86% YTD (vs. up 41.42% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) closed up 19.39% YTD (vs. up 19.79% YTD a week ago).
We have a new Contest leader! Boosted by the week’s top performing Contest pick, CAPR, IMAN’s portfolio, up 95.87% YTD, edged out second place SMALLB’s portfolio, up 95.22% YTD. HRS’s portfolio, up 86.98% YTD, held on to third place.
At Friday's close, 45 of the 48 Contest portfolios remained in the green, with 34 beating the NBI and 21 still beating the SPSIBI.
The 195 Contest portfolio stock picks have an impressive average YTD gain of 30.45% and a median YTD gain of 16.19%, with 118 of the 195 picks up for the year.
