Let's drop this floppy issue once and for all . . .

Yes, I do not own a Zip drive. I was going to buy one last week @ $64.88 (thanks for the link Mel) but decided against it for the moment as I'm contemplating buying a whole new system (none that doesn't include a zip will be considered).

However, I can't think of more than 3 times in the past year I have used my floppy drive. I back up on tape and send files over the Internet.

This is a stupid issue. No one needs a floppy anymore. They are an anachronism.
