Just my opinion. HAD the Dallas Cowboys simply gone back to basics and come out of the tunnel.. Stood for the Anthem as they have done for DECADES then DALLAS would have substantiated the view by many it is AMERICA'S football team.

Unfortunately they didn't do such as they played the game of deflection, kneeling before the Anthem was played in a form of unity of peaceful protest and then STANDING for the ANTHEM. Oh and the organized move extended to the AZ team.

Come On Jerry and others. Do you think that cuts it?

Now I'm listening to panels discussing stand or not stand.

General KELLY put out a statement. It's very simple and said by a father who lost his son defending this nation. Stand for 3 minutes, reflect on those who gave lives, live with injuries.

Works for me since I have been old enough to do so. And whenever I was abroad there was NO greater feeling for me to hear the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. SEE an AMERICAN FLAG on our embassy or hear GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Those who want to discuss the flaws of this nation can do so. Go rent a stadium.. Let the public come in for free.. Get all who want to express themselves to do so.. Hire a network, or broadcast it via the internet but do it on your own time and not force it down the throats of the viewing public, paying fans who just want to watch a football game or other.
