"When is the i600 phone going to hit the market? I can't wait to see Nextel advertised in a California newspaper." It's out. In fact, I saw one of those beauties today. Sleek, light-weight, it's destined for success. The Nextel rep who showed me the phone said that the battery has longer life than the i300. How much longer, I don'd know. Why don't you stop trading NXTL so much and use some of the saved commissions to buy one? Nextel has advertised in the San Diego Union Tribune for some time now. The i600 ads started this past Monday. The lead says "END" in big, bold letters. I won't give away the exciting conclusion because I'm sure you wouldn't want me to spoil it for you. Yesterday as I was going into Staples I saw a construction guy talking into his Nextel i300. It looked like he had dropped it into a brick layer's mud bucket but it worked fine. Apparently it's well made. He said he likes the phone and the easy way he can connect his co-workers. He only uses it for direct connect. Arnie
