Reagan promised to balance the budget. He thought his tax cuts would generate enough money to pay for his spending. He was horribly wrong. We could spend the rest of our lives saying Reagan was a liar and move on or we can simply accept that no tax cutter has ever told the truth and then never vote for them again.
