Hi Zead,

The laptop ZIP (for Toshiba Tecra) is working very well. No problems and it more than meets my expectation. Haven't taken it out of the selectbay since I bought it (except to show people how easy it is to swap out). Of course as you know, it's much faster than the parallel version. Seems as quick as the internal SCSI ZIP in my DELL. Cosmetically, it fits very nicely and the color match of the plastic cover is perfect with the light grey Tecra. A very fine product from CNF Inc./Iomega. I also had a very good customer service experience with CNF. I was one of the very first customers to receive a laptop ZIP directly from CNF. In their haste, they forgot to include the software package (i.e. installation disk/TOOLS ZIP disk and manuals). Lacking the installation disk, I stuck the drive in to see what would happen. Bingo, the drive was recognized and worked immediately. Apparently, the old parallel port software included the necessary IDE drivers (I had installed a borrowed external ZIP drive serveral months earlier). Anyway, I called CNF in CA at about 6:00 PM EST to tell them what I was missing. I explained that the drive was working (so it wasn't an emergency) but I still wanted to get the latest version of TOOLS which came with RECORDIT. They said they would take care of it right away. Next day before noon, the package arrived at my door step. Now that's what I call customer service.

I waited a long time for this product and I must say that the wait was well worth it.
