Kevin - Re: 0.25 micron Pentium MMX ...What's the difference? " Intel introduced the first 0.25 micron Pentium MMX (Tillamook) chips at 200 and 233 MHz - and at "Intel" prices - >$400/chip. They are now offering slower versions - 166 Mhz - at lower prices to replace their existing 0.35 micron devices - and provide lower power/longer battery life. The 266 Mhz Pentium MMX will be introduced as well - probably at around the $400 mark - allowing Intel to lower prices on the 200 and 233 MHz parts as well. Getting all the mobile Pentium MMX units on their 0.25 micron process will allow Intel to maintain profits while reducing prices to customers as well as their own manufacturing costs. Paul
