Caracas: Tuesday, August 26, 1997 -- NorAm Gaming & Entertainment Corp says it's
been awarded a 15-year exclusivity contract to set up and operate a Cojedes State Lottery
together with Venezuelan JV partners, LYMCA.

NorAm will select sales locations, hire local personnel for administration and communication
with the State government under an agreement which allows NorAm to install an initial 200
video lottery terminals in major towns and cities in Cojedes as well as principal offices in
San Carlos.

The US company expects annual gross revenues to top $10 million with net earnings
of $2.5 million per year.

George C. Zilba, NorAm's CEO says that as a result of negotiations with
Cojedes, the NorAm/LYMCA JV has been approached by other Venezuelan
states to draw up proposals for similar State lotteries throughout the
country.
