Rainier and all: I finally found a book that discusses specific patterns with respect to volume, and uses O-H-L-C data. I think a candlestick'er would get more out of it than a "typical" chart person because this is one of the only charting books I have found that recognizes the significance of O-H-L-C. I'm quite impressed with it, and have been looking for it for months on recommendation from someone else. It's a 1977 book, so it's out of print and available only used according to most places. BUT...I found this:

crbindex.com

The CRB bookstore! Go here, click on bookstore, then on book search, and enter HILL in the author field. The title is "Stock and Commodity Market Trend Trading by Advanced Technical Analysis" by John R. Hill. You wont be impressed if you expect fancy fonts and whizzy graphics. It's more like a typed lab notebook. If you can live with that, the content is excellent. Oh, yes, they have it (new). Just recently received it. The CRB site also has many other very hard to find books.
