I suppose most of our presidents are war criminals and most violated the Constitution. Washington so hated Jeffersonian Democrats that he refused to allow any of them to become military leaders. Adams hated free speech and banned anyone from speaking out against the government. Jefferson bought the Louisiana Purchase without the consent of Congress. Needless to say, I could go on and on. The difference we have today is that one party is bankrupting the country and all future generations with debt that can never be undone. The people who were thrown in prison by Adams were pardoned by Jefferson. The rules Washington made up were undone. Nothing can undo $20 trillion of debt.
