The Trade Desk target raised to $66 at Needham -- Analyst Day highlights strong market position (60.14 ) : Needham raises their TTDtgt to $66 from $62. Mgmt did not update guidance, but reiterated its long-term EBITDA margin of ~40%, highlighting the opportunity to expand leverage. The co disclosed its long-term, take-rate range of 15-20%; they believe the low-end is unlikely, at least for many years. The future looks bright for The Trade Desk given that: 1) objectivity, transparency, and scale matters; 2) ad-funded models are likely to proliferate due to increasing content costs, growing middle class in emerging countries, and capped subscriptions; 3) connected TV should serve as a long-term growth driver as consumers shift towards on-demand options; and 4) agency, inventory, and data partners remain important and the Trade Desk has a strong position with these ecosystem participants.

The Trade Desk: 2017 TTD Analyst Day Wrap Up -- RBC Capital Mkts (60.14 ) : RBC Capital Mkts notes, yesterday during an Analyst Day in New York, the company largely answered the 10 questions RBC laid out in their preview note and RBC came out incrementally more positive. Jeff Green and TTD have a very ambitious and aggressive mission and growth outlook, but so far they have executed very well against it. No question that TTD faces a very large TAM, that it is doing it with a highly profitable business model, that it appears to have a reasonably sustainable differentiation in the market, and that it is thoughtfully investing against very good new growth opportunities like OTT and International
