ORCL and winning

I'm betting that the only thing they have to do is outlast their competition. Any economic downturn weeds out the weak companies fast. ORCL will be left standing because there are few alternatives in an enterprise setting. SYBASE goes.

IF there is a recession (someday) then even MSFT is going to see a cutback in mass sales. As long as ORCL doesn't have massive debt. Now I don't know what their debt situation is.

One of the things that is good about NOVL is the lack of debt or need to go into debt as yet to maintain their product development.

Also ORCL unlike NOVl is more than moderately profitable (I hope.)
