The main problem with the DNC is that they have no agenda or platform to rally around. (That was part of Hillary's problem too). Representative Jacky Rosen who is running for the highly contested Senate seat against Republican incumbent Dean Heller next year, was asked about single payer universal healthcare. Her response, "it's an interesting idea within an overall healthcare plan." Mind telling me, what the F she means by that comment? Does she support it or not? There are lots of progressives in Clark County, which make up 68% of the voting bloc in the State, who would like to know. If she doesn't clarify where she stands on that issue, many of the progressives will stay at home and she will lose the election.

The DNC is perceived as a do nothing status quo corporate party. The Democratic Party needs a facelift. Sanders tried, but was hated by the corporate Dem establishment.
