I don't feel a need to defend every action a party has done in history since I'm not an expert in history. I can tell you that Democrats (since WW2) have done enormous good. I doubt a republican can honestly make that claim.

As I've stated previously the republican party became irrelevant after it refused to help Presidents Bush and Obama during and after the Great Recession. Nothing it does now we undo their lack of patriotism.
