Translation: please, please stop using Windows 7 and 8. ® As I mentioned a few months ago Microsoft make it as obvious as possible by giving their newest OS away for free that legacy support would be a Very Important issue going forward. I can imagine both the Win 7 & 8 final support days will be revised to 31 Dec 2019. It will be controversial, but Apple has been doing it to their users for many years and survived. Legacy support is a very costly and burdensome problem for Microsoft. Don
