I'm not sure why Weinstein really matters. He's a dog and a dick and if he did what he's accused of I hope he's punished- but he's a film exec, not a government representative voted in to office. He's not the president. He does not represent anyone- except maybe his company, in an agency situation. I realize this is the year, or perhaps decade, of false equivalencies- but why does this matter? Aside from the salacious fun of getting into the sex crimes of a film exec- why do we care? Isn't it a little different when it's the president grabbing pussy, raping women (allegedly) and purchasing escorts overseas to pee on him- in places where the state police have a habit of encouraging that sort of thing so they can use it for blackmail? Given how Scrotus talked about Ivanka, I always had him pegged as a pedo. I figured they had pedo files on him.
